The Saint Charles Garden Condos at 3915 St. Charles Ave in Uptown New Orleans was a 93 unit condo conversion in 2004. The seven story building surrounds a courtyard and pool. It was very successful conversion selling out in a sixth month period. It has a good location and many of the things people value in an uptown condo complex. The initial sales prices were 199k for the one bedrooms and the two bedrooms ranged from 209k to 249k with the most expensive units being on St. Charles Ave. Most of the units were two bedroom units. The units have greatly appreciated since that date.
All the bedroom are normal sizes with average size closets. The two bedrooms each had two baths with an open den and kitchen area. Most of the units were updated with new cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, wood floors in the kitchen and den areas. The condos feature a courtyard with pool, large gated assigned parking, security guard from 5pm and 3am, balconies off the den. The condos professionally professionlly managed and well maintained. Elevators and parking are easy. The gym is on the third floor and is furnished with modern equipment and free weights.
The ideal location on St. Charles Ave between Louisiana Ave and Napolean Ave. near the universities and near the CBD make it an easy commute.The gated parking, updated units, amenities made this a popular choice. |
