The subdivisions in St. Rose are mostly off of River Road. This is a place to find an newer home with short commute times to Metairie,
La Place, Kenner, Harahan, River Ridge and Taft. You are 4-5 miles from the New Orleans Airport. You are 15-20 minutes away from the major Kenner Malls and shoppiing areas. You can get to 1-310 easily or use Airline highway which is an almost straight shot to downtown if you want to wait thru the lights. The schools are good, its a family atmosphere, nearby playgrounds and very good public schools. The Levee has been made into a bike and walking path which goes all the way to the City of New Orleans near Audubon Park. | |

| Riverbend Subdivision in St. Rose is a newer subdivision that is directly of River Road. It features a variety of homes with at least 2000 sq. ft. all will have high ceiling, open floor plans and what you would expect in newer homes with the oldest being 3-4 years old. | |

| Riverwood Estates in St. Rose is another new Subdivision of larger homes on 80x140 lots just off River Road. It is a long street that runs off the river road. The newer construction is homes of 2500 sq. ft. or larger. It has had quite a few restrictions so has turned into a nice subdivision with easy access to l-310. Most of the homes here have been built by various local builders of the area. Most were custom or spec homes. The lots are nice size. The lots on the left handside of the subdivision has an alley running behind it. Its a planned community with easy commute times to the Metro area. | |

Oak Manor Estates is another subdivision of River road in St Rose. The homes here are generally a little older than the other subdivisions. It is closer to Kenner and not nearly as large as Riverwood and Riverbend. All will be less than 10 years old. | |

| Highland Oaks is new construction St. Rose just getting underway on 2007. New tract homes built by lancraft as you enter St. Rose. The community features 3-4 bedroom homes, underground utilities, and subsurface drainage. This is one of the few places you can get a new home in the 200k range this close to the New Orleans Metro area on the eastbank. | |
