Chateau Estates Subdivision is one of the largest in Kenner.  What makes this different is the variety of prices, sizes and types of homes.  The Chateau Estates Country Club is a center piece of the subdivision with golf course homes and full service Club House.     Chateau Estates Golf course houses, these are the biggest and generally the most expensive.  Most were built almost 30 years ago so if they have not been updated, they are old.  The homes may be somewhat dated.  The styles and designs are all over the place as most were custom built for whatever the owners wanted.     The others areas in Chateau Estates are not as large or as expensive.  The area does have a lot of nice homes of 1900 sq. ft. to 3000 sq. ft.  Most are going to be ranch styles but you will see a varieyy as well.       Most of the homes are going to be brick.  They do the best with our hot and humud weather.  Its just a carefree way to build.
