Palm Vista Subdivision is an upscale subdivision of custom homes near the Lake. It is in mostly Kenner but Metairie is also part of the subdivision. Most of the homes are newer than those in Metiairie next door. The subdivision has a variety of styles and sizes. There are a lot of Acadian as that was a favorite style on the late 1980's into the 1990's.
The area is popular because its not that far out. It is still close to everything including schools, shopping, and the airport.
Actually Palm Vista is in Metairie and in Kenner.
True most of the subdivision has a Kenner zip but the far east portion of the subdivision is considered Metairie. Robeline, half of Palm Vista, Canary Ansas ,Washingtonian, Stonia are Metairies
Another appealing factor for Palm vista is the location near the lake with easy access to it and its recreational value. The location is close enough to everything but feels apart from the hustle.
It is very appealing area ...lots are pricey and executives gravitate to it.
Spacious feel to the subdivision...lots are typically between 60 -100 feet front. Most homes are at least 3000 sf living but there are rare ones that might be 2500...but not less. And it is not uncommon to have 5,000 sf of living and above.
